Police exposed 7 persons for violating state emergency regulations
The Ministry of Internal Affairs actively continues to operate along with the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) to prevent the possible spread of the new Coronavirus and closely monitors citizens in self-isolation. As a result of the joint monitoring measures held in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Kvemo Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Adjara regions, 6 persons were exposed for violating rules of self-isolation.
All exposed individuals were fined by police in the amount of 3000 GEL for violating rules of self-isolation and transferred them to the obligatory quarantine zones.
In addition to the mentioned, Kakheti police department also exposed a minibus driver and fined with 3000 GEL for transporting passengers despite the restrictions on cross-city traveling. All legal entities and physical persons must follow regulations defined by the declared state of emergency, the violation of which may result in administrative charges, whereas the secondary violation perpetrated by the same person will bring him/her to criminal responsibility.
